Langhe Doc Nebbiolo

A Nebbiolo with great drinkability, this is marked with fruit and a freshness combined with soft tannins that are barely felt. Its time spent in large barrels highlights the purity and natural characteristics of the grape variety.

First year of production:

Crushing-destemming is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts. It is left in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by dry racking and cold decantation with transfer to oak barrels of 500 liters.

Malolactic fermentation:
Carried out entirely in barrels immediately after alcoholic fermentation.

In barrels for 4 months, then assemblage in stainless steel, filtration, and bottling. Rests in the bottle at a constant temperature of 14° C (57° F) for one month before release.

Tasting notes:
This wine has great drinkability, a rich fruitiness, and subtle tannins. Its aging in barrels does not add aromas, but rather highlights the purity of the Nebbiolo grape. Its ideal drinking period is within the first five years after bottling, when it best develops the aromas of rose and small, red fruit. Serve at 16-18° C (61-64° F).
